Digital transformation improved existing companies. Enterprise reinvention asks a harder question: which parts should stop existing at all?
Digital transformation was largely about doing the same things better: faster processes, cleaner data, better tooling around a business whose shape stayed roughly the same.
Reinvention is a different exercise. It starts by questioning the shape itself.
